The Barcode Generator Extension enables you to integrate into 3rd party applications using barcodes and barcode scanners. This software is directly integrated into your Upshot Commerce solution. The barcode software generates a default "Code 39" barcode-type; however your Upshot Commerce engineer can reformat the module to your scanner's requirements.

The Barcode Generator can be integrated into your UPS and FedEx shipping systems, as well as USPS using Endcia Dazzle. You will need to obtain the necessary account and software from your shipper.

Go into your Upshot Commerce Order Manager, select and filter the orders you want to process (print receipts, packing slips, pick list, etc). On each document you will see the generated barcode produced by our software.

You take the paperwork to your shipper’s workstation and scan the barcodes. Immediately upon scanning, your Upshot Commerce platform talks to your shipper’s workstation and sends all relevant data. Your Upshot Commerce platform marks the order as shipped, emails the customer, and updates the order with tracking information.
