Leverage Social Media to Increase Customer EngagementGet Started
The Social Pricing Extension enables retailers to leverage social media to increase consumer engagement with the retail site. This extension affects product pricing and is managed within the Upshot Commerce back office. To use, retailers login to their back office, select an existing product, determine a base price, and specify how many FaceBook likes are required to discount the product.
For example, if the retailer has a camera whose MSRP is $1000, the retailer may create a rule that allows the product to be discounted 10% if the product garners at least 300 FaceBook likes. Once the product receives 300 FaceBook Likes, the product price drops to $900. Retailers may have the Social Pricing rule enabled temporarily or permanently.
