Social Log In is a feature that is available during the checkout or registration process, as an alternative to creating a unique username and password with your site. This allows customers to not only register with your site easily, but also automatically keeps them logged into your site whenever they are logged into social media. Social Pricing Extension
The Social Pricing Extension enables retailers to leverage social media to increase consumer engagement with the retail site. This extension affects product pricing and is managed within the Upshot Commerce back office. To use, retailers login to their back office, select an existing product, determine a base price, and specify how many Facebook likes are required to discount the product.
For example, if the retailer has a camera whose MSRP is $1000, the retailer may create a rule that allows the product to be discounted 10% if the product garners at least 300 FaceBook likes. Once the product receives 300 FaceBook Likes, the product price drops to $900. Retailers may have the Social Pricing rule enabled temporarily or permanently. Learn More
Share-a-Sale allows customers to easily share items that they have purchased from your ecommerce store directly with their social media community. After placing an order with your site, customers are prompted with the option to let others know about the products they purchased via Facebook. If the customer opts to do so, an easy to post link is created, which displays the product as well as including a link back to your own site.
